Anwer Sunderji, MA, MBA
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Fidelity Bank & Trust International Limited

Mr. Sunderji joined the British American Group in Bahamas in 1992 in the capacity of President.  He served in this role until 1995 when he led a management buyout of the Group’s banking assets.  He was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed Fidelity Bank & Trust International Limited.  He is Chairman of Fidelity’s three banking subsidiaries including Bahamas, Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos Islands.  He also serves as a director on the boards of mutual funds managed by Fidelity. He has an extensive background and knowledge in emerging markets and has held various senior executive positions in international trade and finance.  Mr. Sunderji received his under-graduate at St. John’s College, Cambridge with a degree in mechanical sciences and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Ross McDonald, BA, MBA
Former Head of Caribbean Banking, RBC Royal Bank of Canada and Director of RBC Royal Bank of Canada Trust in the Cayman Islands and Bahamas (retired) 

Mr. McDonald was the Head of Caribbean Banking, RBC Royal Bank of Canada, and Director, RBC Royal Bank of Canada Trust Company (Bahamas) Limited and RBC Royal Bank of Canada Trust Company (Cayman) Limited Trust in Cayman and the Bahamas.  As Head of Caribbean Banking he was responsible for domestic operations in eight countries including Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and St. Lucia.  In his capacity as Director he was responsible for the delivery of trust and private banking services to offshore clients.  He began his extensive career with Royal Bank of Canada in London, Ontario and holding management positions in both Montreal and Toronto.  He later held the roles of Vice President for Business Banking, Personal and Commercial Banking, and Vice President, Bahamas and Cayman Islands consecutively and in 2003 became Senior Vice President, Caribbean Banking.    Mr. McDonald received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Vermont in 1973 and a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from the Richard Ivey School of Business in 1976.

Michael A. Anderson, B.ACC, CA (SA)
President, Royal Fidelity Merchant Bank & Trust Limited

Mr. Anderson joined the Fidelity Group as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1987 after spending six years with Price Waterhouse.  In 1995 he assisted with the buyout of the Groups banking assets and was appointed Vice President and CFO of the newly formed Fidelity Bank & Trust International Limited.  He currently heads up Royal Fidelity’s operations in both The Bahamas and Barbados.  Mr. Anderson also serves as a Director on several of Fidelity’s subsidiaries and sits on the boards of a number of private companies, including the Bahamas International Securities Exchange (BISX).  Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and Commerce from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Michael Detje
Chief Financial Officer, Caribbean Banking, Royal Bank of Canada
Michael Detje is responsible for financial management and reporting across the Caribbean, including Treasury, Real Estate, Procurement, Decision Support and Tax. Mr. Detje has more than 25 years of experience in banking and insurance, 22 of them with RBC. His most recent position prior to joining Caribbean Banking was Managing Director, Mergers & Acquisitions for RBC. Prior to 1988 Mr. Detje worked as an auditor with PriceWaterhouse Coopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) in Canada, England and Bermuda specializing in financial institutions. He is a Chartered Accountant (1982) and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics Degree (1981) from the University of Waterloo.
